This jacket is only available to serving RAF officers.

For enquiries and orders we will need to see proof of identity. Please email from a works MoD email address to enquiries@flying-jacket.com, or fax 01264 773102 on MoD works headed paper. A faxed copy of ID card is also acceptable as proof of identity.

RAF Uniform Policy changed on 10 May 2010. As part of these changes, the wearing of a privately purchased leather flying jacket with No 2 Dress, in lieu of the current General Purpose Jacket, was authorised. Previously this jacket was only authorised for aircrew. This authorisation has now been extended to all RAF Officers, Warrant Officers and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers.

The Full Kit includes:

Cold Weather Lining and Detachable Collar - "Zip in" cold weather lining and sheepskin collar. MUST be ordered WITH the jacket and cannot be retro fitted.

Optional Extras:

Identity Badge - Detachable name badge with embossed name and rank if required and cast pewter RAF wings. (Please Note: the identity badge is not included in the price of the full kit).

NOTES:

All orders are payable by credit card.

All prices exclude DHL delivery charges and UK VAT (this will be added when shipping to countries where Value Added Tax is applicable unless a VAT exemption certificate is supplied by the relevant admin office).
